CASA MILIA I is built in an old house, recently refurbished with materials such as stone and wood, conferring it with a fine aspect.
Built of stone in 1940 and recently renovated in 1993, it is in fairly good condition.
It has a floor area of 130 m².
It has 4 double rooms with full bathroom and everything necessary to enjoy a farmhouse with modern-day comforts. Cot available.
The house has a large function room, a spacious garden for enjoying sunny days, outdoor parking and an abundance of green areas surrounding it.
The Portodemouros reservoir irrigates the Arzúa, Santiso, Vila de Cruces and Agolada territories and has become a magnificent place to practice outdoor sports and nature related activities. We recommend the following tourist sites in the area: - Brandeso Well.
- Calvos de Socamiño Manor House.
- Chapel of La Madalera.
- Santa María Church.
Another interesting place is A Coruña, which you can get to via the Ponte da Pasaxe access way; to discover or rediscover it... To enjoy, for a little while, its modern, and at the same time secular attractions.
A roadside stop allows you to partially view the city that awaits... And there, far away, the Hercules Tower silhouette, reminds us of its symbolic, guiding character. It presides over the city on its most northern extreme, and is the lady of the night in the A Coruña sea.
We enter the great city of the Galician north west: A quarter of a million inhabitants, twenty centuries of history, and a privileged place between the land and the sea.
Almost in the old city, urban geometry finds perfection in the Plaza de Maria Pita square. On three of its sides the houses - each on three arches - have balconies and galleries, in a progressive ascent. The Municipal Palace, a building dating from the start of the 20th century, presides over this square. In its sessions hall, the most significant acts of history and legends about the city are represented.
The most outstanding places in the city are the following: Fine Arts Museum, Saint Nicholas church, Saint George church, Galician Royal Academy, the church of Santiago.
